Update: The original LinkedIn profile is no longer available, so we just have the Kotaku article that reported it.
Kotaku reports that an EA Shanghai level designer, who was helping out with Dragon Age 3′s earlier in the year, posted on his LinkedIn profile that:
“Scope of the DAIII has been changed, which will target next gen platform and will be postponed to 2014.”
Back in May, DA 3 was rumored to have been delayed in favour of Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Given that the game will be running on Frostbite 2, as well as Mass Effect ’4′, perhaps it isn’t a surprise that both these games will see a next-gen release, especially if you remember that EA gave themselves some wiggle room by not specifically naming any consoles.
