Tucked away in a small corner of the Xbox Live Marketplace, the Indie Games section is a little haven for budding developers to show off their wares. We have a rather disappointing 4 titles to sift through this week, let’s hope one of them can serve up an ace.

Comet Turn – umaoto

Here is your chance to control a comet. Complete “techniques” like floating around space while attracted by the gravitational pull of a distant star because you don’t have enough mass to hold your own stable orbit, and the like. Once you’ve performed a “technique” you score points. That’s it really. Looks pretty basic and might appeal to the stargazers among us. 80 MS Points

The Co-Op Zombie Game – Strange Games

Having been to my local Co-Op on a number of occasions and seen the level of staff working there, I can confirm that this might have something to do with the national supermarket chain. Or, not. This first person shooter will have you blasting zombies in a way that would make Simon Pegg proud. You can also blast them with your friends, online or offline, through 19 levels (Why not make it a round 20?) Rid the city supermarkets of the undead horde while collecting ammo, smashing crates and trying not to get blown to bits by exploding barrels. 80 MS Points

Dungeon Smash: Dark Isles – HaikuInteractive

Demons have kidnapped your Princess (those pesky critters). It’s time to battle monsters, create a hero, rescue the Princess and eliminate even the toughest stains. Battle on your own or with three friends as you wander through infinite dungeons with multiple endings. This is a twin stick style adventure, so be prepared to smash some dungeon. 240 MS Points

Toy Plane – Sick Kreation

Did you ever play the paper plane simulator in Excel? This looks nothing like that. Guide your Pixar-esque toy plane through obstacles while collecting coins, stars or hoops. This looks polished and there are 6 levels to enjoy. Unlock the bonus level and become your console’s best toy plane pilot or challenge your mates to beat your Endurance mode time. 80 MS Points

So, that’s all for this week, have any of those served an ace for you or are they languishing with multiple double-faults? Let us know below.
