It seems that North Korea are in a bit of hot water over a recent propaganda video created by the North Korean government, which they had chosen to contain some video footage from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

The video was soon removed from the official North Korean YouTube channel at Activision’s request.

The news came from a report by the BBC claiming that the video was posted on North Korea’s official YouTube channel with the video depicting a sleeping man dreaming of a new world under a unified Korea. In this dream what looks to be New York City is under heavy fire, this footage however was indeed from Modern Warfare 3.

The video is tied up with a grim slogan, burning over the destructive scenes then followed by the man declaring his dream will be realised.

“Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing, It seems that the nest of wickedness is ablaze with the fire started by itself.”

The video was blocked by YouTube on Tuesday. Anyone attempting to watch it was greeted by a message outlining Activision’s complaint. The video was removed altogether yesterday.
