What are you doing this morning? Rushing round your house, snatching toast and heading out the front door for another dull Monday of commuter grind and misery?
What about later on today? Stumble home, tired from work, to sit in front of the goggle box in the living room and watch terrible soaps until you can justify crawling into bed for the blissful oblivion of sleep?
Well some people are going to be playing Grand Theft Auto 5 today – and it turns out it could be a lot more than you think.
It seems that Amazon have been sending out copies of the highly anticipated open-world title to customers a little too early, in a move guaranteed to put out of joint the noses of high-street retailers. In a press-release to GamesIndustry International, Rockstar Games have said,
“We are in the process of investigating early ‘sales’ to determine how and why that is occurring.”
This probably won’t be the last we’ll hear on the issue of early releases with Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts both due in the near future.
Are you one of the lucky people playing GTA V this morning?
